2D5 is an annual exhibition celebrating the creativity and experimentation of Contemporary Art Practice (CAP) students at Edinburgh College. Organised by the student-led hubCAP committee, the show features a diverse range of two-dimensional artworks by first- and second-year students, created during the opening weeks of term.
Taking place at The Gatehouse on Granton Campus, the exhibition offers a lively snapshot of emerging artistic voices and the community spirit within CAP.

Special Event: Margin Notes
12 November | 17:00 – 19:00
The Gatehouse, Granton Campus
Join artist Mike Giraldas for Margin Notes, a two-hour, hands-on workshop exploring creative collaboration through zine-making. Together, we’ll reflect on and respond to local artists’ work, combining our ideas and creations into a collaboratively produced zine — a small publication that will be shared within the community.
This workshop invites participants to explore, discuss, and make, engaging deeply with local art while experimenting with visual and written expression. Whether you’re an artist, writer, or simply curious, Margin Notes offers a welcoming space to connect, create, and contribute to a collective piece of community art.
