hubCAP Gallery is striving to be a fully accessible organisation and we recognise that we are not quite there yet in every aspect. 

Most of our exhibitions and related events are held in the ‘Gatehouse’ at the front of the Edinburgh College Granton Campus but we also put on events off site at other venues including outside spaces.

The Gatehouse:

The Campus is accessible by public transport and car.

There is a staff carpark, several designated disabled spaces and a drop off space on the west side of the main college building.

Additional parking, including disabled and parent/carer and child parking is available in the Morrison supermarket site on the east side of the main building.

Public Transport: Lothian Busses 8, 9, 14, 16, 17, 22, 24, 38, x37 all stop verry near the college and Gatehouse https://www.lothianbuses.com/

Gatehouse Access:

The Gatehouse is accessible by public footpath from the main road and carparks.

The Gatehouse entrance is on the east side of the building and is accessible via a temporary steel ramp on both sides of the door threshold.

Please note the ramp will only be in position during set opening times.

Toilets:

Unfortunately, the Gatehouse does not currently have public toilet facilities.

However, toilet facilities including a fully accessible changing place and baby changing facility are available on the ground floor of the Main College building approximately 50m from the Gatehouse.

Additional toilets including disabled toilets are available in Morrisons Supermarket on the east side of the main college building.

Individual exhibitions and events may include loud noises / music, flashing images and or lighting effect. We will always try to provide information related to these in indivual posts regarding the exhibitions.

The Gatehouse is part of Edinburgh College estate. hubCAP uses the space on a adhoc basis and although we will always strive to provide the best experience for all hubCAP visitors, hubCAP cannot guarantee that all users of the Gatehouse space will provide the same.
