Accessibility Statement for Firmament by Edward Cawood 

We want everyone to be able to enjoy and experience Firmament at Sett Studios. Below you will find key information about access to the exhibition. 

Location and Transport 

Sett Studios is accessible by public transport. The nearest bus and tram stop is Foot of the Walk, served by Lothian Buses 7, 14, 16, 25, and 49, and Edinburgh’s tram service. 

Step-Free Access 

All exhibition areas — the front gallery, glass room, and studio spaces — are fully accessible with step-free entry. 

Doors and Emergency Exits 

The main entrance and the fire exit are both street-facing and step-free. 

Toilets 

Please note that the restroom at Sett Studios is currently out of use. Visitors can use a partially accessible toilet at the nearby Leith Depot (138–142 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 5DT). 

Parking and Drop-Off 

There is a drop-off zone directly in front of the gallery. Additional parking and drop-off zones are available at the Tesco supermarket on Leith Walk. 

Lighting and Sound 

The exhibition uses overhead lighting only. There will be no music or sound in the space. 

Quiet Bookable Opening
